Matheson Hosts GC Powerlist Ireland 2024 Event
Matheson was delighted to host an event to mark the publication of the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Ireland 2024, and the launch of the GC Magazine. The GC Powerlist identifies the leading in-house counsel determined by the Legal 500 to have made a notable impact on their company or industry through innovation, creativity, and excellence in technical advice or advancing a working model that other corporate counsel should try to emulate. The 2024 edition of the GC Powerlist has again succeeded in identifying those in-house counsel who have performed exceptionally well across a diverse range of organisations and industries, and being included is an important recognition of success.
Eleanor Daly, Associate General Counsel at Meta and Matheson alumnus, delivered the event's keynote address. Eleanor discussed the ever-evolving role of the general counsel, the challenges and opportunities facing in-house counsel and shared her insights on the Irish and global legal markets.
A number of our Matheson alumni feature on the the GC Powerlist for 2024, and on behalf of all at Matheson, we would like to extend our congratulations to each of the individuals who have been included.
