EirGrid, the Irish transmission system operator (TSO), sets out its Scheduling and Dispatch Programme ("SDP") in a Future Power Markets Design Authority Update.

The SDP will be delivered across two tranches with three phases each, with the aim of enhancing the scheduling and dispatch systems process, bring about compliance with the Clean Energy Package (CEP) and the treatment for variable Non-Priority Dispatch Renewables (NPDR) and to facilitate low / zero carbon grid technologies.
