As ever, legal and regulatory developments in the financial services sector continue at pace. Since the Spring 2023 Horizon Tracker we have seen significant engagement from the Central Bank on climate change, consumer protection and fitness and probity standards. At a European level there continues to be emphasis on banking recovery, digital finance and climate change. Below we consider three distinct developments which we feel warrant particular mention.
